August 1, 2007 WINE TASTINGS...like never before a summer night... a wine expert... sippings and tastings... and, of course...the serene setting.
There is always something new at the Stepping Stone Spa and Wellness Center...
The first class held on August 1 was a GREAT success another one awaits; date is pending. Please check back for new date to be announced soon.
Our aim is always to educate and enlighten and what better way to end a summer day than focusing on an appreciation for wine? And to do so with a home grown expert.

Born and raised in the Northeast Kingdom, Laure Dixon is a certified wine connoisseur and gourmand. Dixon previously worked for Dean & Deluca in Washington, DC and has conducted wine tastings across the globe. Currently an adjunct college professor in Massachusetts, a writer and a public speaker, Laure Dixon combines her public speaking skills and wine savvy, to teach audiences how to passionately enjoy wine and more comfortably expand their familiarity of such. Her ability to uncork enthusiasm for wine and food; coupled with her knowledge of wine etiquette, food and wine pairings, grape varietals, wine storage and purchases; will add to a majestic August evening, at Vermont's beautiful, Stepping Stone Spa & Wellness Center.
Ms. Dixon will visit our spa and conduct a tasting with samples of six wines from the spa's organic selection, (Argentinean and Spanish wines) to be accompanied by healthy tapas which accent the flavors of those regions. The light dinner - tasting @ $ 40 per person, will start at 6pm and last till about 7:30pm and still allow time for a full tasting of one of our organic wine selections.
Join Laure at our table; in the Garden Café at The Stepping Stone Spa & Wellness Center, at 1545 Darling Hill Road in Lyndonville, for a taste of South American wines and a full glass of wine knowledge and etiquette that's sure to raise one's spirits and appreciation for savoring wine!
This tasting is part of an upcoming series, and is limited to 15 people. Early reservations are highly encouraged. Please call 802-626-3104 for details.
